Our relational network of over 100 weekly volunteers reflects a diverse group of individuals from all over the Washington, D.C. metro area. As a non-profit, we rely on volunteers like family members for everything from assisting program directors on-site to IT support in the office. Each member of our family holds a unique gift for the community, whether time, talent or treasure.

    Are you a female with experience in Social Work or Counseling/Therapy? Do you have time to invest in one of our local leaders who is highly motivated towards this profession?   • Middle & High School Bible Study Leaders

    Casa is looking for male and female volunteers to join teams of leaders who are building relationships with middle and high school groups during weekly Bible Studies. Meetings are once a week in evenings during the school year. You will be blessed walking with young students as they learn, grow, and face life’s challenges, discovering God along the way.   • Sponsor a Family Dinner Night

    We are looking for a church sponsor to connect with the Chirilagua community through hosting a meal at our monthly family dinners from 6:00-8:30 PM. Church small groups host these family dinners at Beverly Hills Community United Methodist Church to celebrate community and unity. These dinners allow families to share testimonies-such as good grades-and engage in a bible devotional.

  • Seeking 1-to-1 Mentors

    We are looking for 1-on-1 mentors who are passionate about being a positive role model in a child’s life and can provide a commitment of 1 year or more. Interest meetings, background check process and trainings happen on a rolling basis to prepare mentors for their new relationship. Commitment is minimum 1 hr per week, every week for a minimum of 1 year. You may choose a day that fits you and your mentee’s schedules.
