Emergency Relief

We work alongside over 100 families, many of whom have been negatively impacted by the recent pandemic. Our deep roots in the community have positioned us to respond to the needs of the community quickly and effectively.

We invite you to join us and be a part of what we’re doing here in Chirilagua! One way to start is by visiting our Most-Needed Items List for a complete list of items that families have expressed a need of as well as drop-off instructions. Please revisit this document regularly as we continually update it according to what the needs are in the community.

Drop off hours are Mondays 10am to 1pm, and Thursdays 1pm to 4pm. Please do not leave any items on the front steps outside of these drop off times. Thank you!

Have other donations in mind?

Reach out to our Emergency relief Coordinator at emergencyrelief@casachirilagua.org directly if you have any items not on the Most-Needed Items List. We strive to connect excess donations with families directly instead of storing them in our community center.

Our Emergency Relief efforts in the community are made possible through the help of many volunteers. We are continually looking for volunteers to help organize our pantry, make grocery bags for families, and distribute food boxes.

You can give specifically to our Emergency Relief Fund! This fund supports families in Chirilagua who have been impacted by COVID-19. Rent and utility financial relief, food distributions, and the upkeep of our food pantry are all covered by this fund.
