Casa once again welcomes The Intervarsity Bridge DC experience to the Chirilagua neighborhood! Bridge DC is a 7 week summer internship program. A team of student leaders move into the Chirilagua neighborhood where they will tutor local children and become part of the fabric of the community, attend a local church, and learn about the biblical justice issues as they build deep Christian community together both with teammates and the community. This year–among many other activities–interns assisted with Alexandria Presbyterian Church’s Vacation Bible School and are volunteering at Mount Vernon Community School’s Summer Language Academy.
