Summer is just around the corner… are you ready? Here at Casa Chirilagua, we’re forecasting that bright days are ahead of us. Please join us for a happy hour at Alexandria’s own Port City Brewing Company at 3950 Wheeler Avenue, on Wednesday, June 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. Highlights of this event include a tour of the award-winning craft brewery at 6:30 p.m., a raffle drawing of four amazing prizes (stay tuned for announcements on our website), and savory food, provided by Papuseria Diana. Donations given during this fundraiser and 10% of all beverage purchases will go towards four Urban Hands summer camp scholarships for Casa kids.
The week-long summer program offers children the opportunity to enjoy worship with their peers and serve communities in Washington D.C. Through activities such as helping at homeless shelters or gardening for elderly citizens, our youth will learn life-long lessons on humilty, ministry and advancing Christ’s Kingdom.
