On March 3rd, the Middle School tutoring group took an attendance reward trip to DC. Much to the chagrin of their leaders, they requested to visit the Crime and Punishment Museum. Though it was gruesome at times, the students actually read and were engaged. There is something about torture and blood that seems to appeal to the dysfunction of a middle school mind. The group enjoyed commuting into DC on the bus and metro, spending time together at the museum, and grabbing lunch and eating it in the beautiful atrium of the National Portrait gallery. Thank you to the donors who help make our Middle School field trips possible!
