As a volunteer, you will build meaningful relationships and impact the community. Opportunities range from year-long to one-time commitments ranging through various levels of experience.
Below you can find information about the volunteer needs for each of our programs. The programs are divided by the age group or demographics of the target participants.

When: 4-5PM Monday thru Friday. We would love for volunteers to commit to once a week for a semester or school year.
Commitment: One day per week for 1.5 – 2 hours; On-going
Responsibilities: Provide elementary school children with reading assistance, assist with homework, or lead a learning activity by bringing your skills to the table.

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-6PM
Commitment: One day per week for 1.5 – 2 hours; On-going
Responsibilities: Provide Middle School students with homework assistance, help facilitate small group discussion for emotional development curriculum, participate in games/ activities with students

When: Decided between mentor and mentees family
Commitment: One day per week for one hour with a minimum one-year commitment; On-going
Responsibilities: Mentor and tutor a student (Elementary to High School) one-on-one

Commitment: One day per week for 1.5 – 2 hours; On-going
Responsibilities: With a team, prepare and facilitate small group study and discussion for spiritual growth

Commitment: One day per week for 1.5 – 2 hours; On-going
Responsibilities: Provide High School students with support at they are preparing for college and/or vocational next steps

When: Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 7–9 pm
Commitment: 2 hours per week, fall and/or spring semesters
Responsibilities: Support the learning of basic oral English skills for the adults in the community through teaching a class, being a teacher’s assistant, or through admin support.
When: Tuesdays, 5:30–7:30pm; Seasonal
Commitment: 1 day per week for 1 hour, fall and/or spring semesters
Responsibilities: Tutor adults in basic reading and writing skills in Spanish. Spanish proficiency required, experience in literacy tutoring preferred. This program is just in the beginning stages and we are looking for interested volunteers to help us launch it.
When: Seasonal
Commitment: 2 hours per week, 4 weekly classes per semester; Seasonal
Responsibilities: Teach basic computer skills to adults in Spanish. Spanish proficiency required; experience teaching computer skills preferred but not required.
When: Monday, 10AM-Noon, 1PM-3PM
Commitment: None
Responsibilities: Prepare bags of groceries, wellness products, and cleaning supplies for distribution.
When: Wednesdays 10AM-Noon
Commitment: None
Responsibilities: Distribute bags of groceries, wellness products, and cleaning supplies. Encourage good safety protocols.
When: Fridays 930AM-Noonish
Commitment: None
Responsibilities: Setup/cleanup, Distribute boxes of groceries, Encourage good safety protocols. Direct lines.
When: Monday–Friday; 3–5:15 pm
Commitment: One day per week for 1.5–2 hours; Seasonal
Responsibilities: Provide elementary school children with reading assistance, assist with homework, or lead a learning activity by bringing your skills to the table. Occasional field trips.
When: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 11 am–2 pm
Commitment: 1 day per week for 3 hours; Seasonal
Responsibilities: Provide middle school students with positive summer role models, engage in games, emotional development lessons, team building, art projects, and weekly field trips.
