5k Fun Run in Support of Casa Chiri – Nov. 2nd

Sep 12, 2013

One of our partner churches, Christ the King, is organizing their second annual 5K fun run at Cameron Run Regional Park in Alexandria, on November 2nd at 9:00am. This year, the church has graciously offered to donate all proceeds to Casa Chirilagua!

We’re inviting the whole neighborhood and all of our supporters, including YOU. Bring your family and friends for a morning of walking, jogging or running through Cameron Run Regional Park, all in support of Casa Chiri.

The race starts at 9:00am so be sure to arrive early to give yourself time to pick up your registration packet. Register in advance at http://bit.ly/casachiri5k2013. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PRE-REGISTER AND PRE-PAY USING THE LINK ABOVE.

Not interested in running? Sign up to volunteer! We’ll need volunteers to help with race setup, water stations, registration tables and clean up. Email Sarah to sign up as a volunteer: sarah@casachirilagua.org

Our relational network of volunteers and donors reflects a diverse group of individuals from all over the Washington, D.C. metro area. As a non-profit, we rely on the community for assisting program directors on-site, being mentors, supplying the needs of our food pantry, and everything in between. Each member of our Casa community holds a unique gift, whether time, talent or treasure.
