Casa Chirilagua Christmas Celebration 2012

Join us this Saturday, at 6:00pm at Grace Episcopal Church (3601 Russell Road, Alexandria) for our annual Christmas celebration. Each year at Christmastime we gather as a Casa family to celebrate the season and our community. Our students would love for you to see their Christmas program and join them and their families for a potluck dinner. You don’t want to miss the photo booth, kids crafts, raffle and more! Please bring a dish to share during the potluck dinner.

We are still in need of 10-15 more volunteers for the event. Sign up for a volunteer time slot here. As of this posting, we are still in need of:

9 people for set-up/decorations
7 door greeters
5 kids craft room attendants
7 people for breakdown/clean-up

Casa Chirilagua Christmas Celebration 2012

We are a community of people “learning together to love our neighbors as ourselves” in a Latino neighborhood in Alexandria, Virginia.

As a faith-based Christian non-profit with a small staff and over 100 volunteers, we serve alongside more than 100 families and their children (1st-12th grades) each week through our community programs.

Our relational network of volunteers and donors reflects a diverse group of individuals from all over the Washington, D.C. metro area. As a non-profit, we rely on the community for assisting program directors on-site, being mentors, supplying the needs of our food pantry, and everything in between. Each member of our Casa community holds a unique gift, whether time, talent or treasure.
